Lebanese Red Cross

I started my volunteering work with the Lebanese Red Cross in 2012 where I was a social volunteer in Youth Sector at which I was elected Vice President for Tyre, Lebanon Center. Our volunteering work revolved around decimating public awareness on different topics and to different age groups. Topics that were covered include:  Human Values and Principles, International Humanitarian Law (IHL), Road Safety, Environmental Awareness and Sanitation.

In 2016 I switch my volunteering work the Emergency Medical Services Sector where I undergone different training name from which: First Aid, First Medical Responder, Emergency Medical Technician - Basic (EMT-B) in addition to team lead training courses such as Cadre's training ( Team Leader training ) and Bronze (Front) Commander in Multi-casualty Incidents. I was later assigned as a team leader in 2019 leading a group of 10+ Medics.

Aside from those sectors I also was member of 2 different programs in the Lebanese Red Cross which are Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and The Disaster Management Unit ,which later became a sector on it's own (DMS). At the DRR I was among the facilitators team, we used to conduct field visits to different villages in Tyre Region meeting with residents assessing for different Risks and Capacities available in their villages in order to put a plan minimizing the Disaster Risk. In the DMS, I was mainly the technical lead in developing any soft solution for different projects. I developed a data collection and reporting solution to a project that was conducted with UNICEF Lebanon in Coordination with MoPH Lebanon. The project aimed to conduct door to door assessments in different villages in South Lebanon collecting data on Children vaccination records and spreading awareness on the necessity of vaccinating their minors. In addition to that, I was part of different activities such as Blood Drives, COVID-19 PCR transport. Distributing food, water and hygiene kits on quarantined families. As a volunteer in this program I was trained and certified as a Bronze (Front) Commander in Disaster Response trained to lead volunteer groups when responding to different disasters.
