As a Data & BI / Analytics Engineer at Asset Ocean GmbH, an Encavis Group company, my role focuses on supporting data-driven decision-making within the renewable energy asset management sector.

During this role, I execute the following activities:

Technologies: SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, dbt, Data Vault, Data Warehousing, ETL, Data Modeling, Reporting Automation, Analytics Engineering

I am responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving business intelligence and analytics solutions that transform operational and financial data into reliable insights for business stakeholders. My work includes designing structured data models, building and optimizing reporting layers, supporting data pipeline development, and ensuring that dashboards and reports are accurate, scalable, and aligned with business requirements.

The following are the main contributions to this role:

• Developing and maintaining BI reports and dashboards to improve visibility over business and operational performance.
• Supporting data engineering and analytics workflows through SQL-based transformations, dbt models, Snowflake data structures, and Data Vault modeling concepts.
• Improving data quality, consistency, and usability across reporting processes.
• Translating business requirements into clear, decision-ready analytics solutions for stakeholders.
• Applying my previous experience in BI, SQL Server, Power BI, and operational reporting within the renewable energy sector.
